- World traveler.
A native to South Carolina, Nathan spent his childhood summers climbing trees and playing King’s Quest, burning through VHS copies of the Labrynth and Neverending Story on rainier days.
In his teenage years, Nathan traded He-Man and Voltron in favor of a bow and cello, and his inner artist hit the ground running (or perhaps we should say bowing). In addition to music performance, Nathan graced his high school stage as an actor, and even stepped up to the shutter, beginning a love affair with photography that’s still going strong today.
After graduation Nathan headed even further south to attend Florida State in Tallahassee. When he wasn’t in class working on his graphic design degree, Nathan maintained a second life as a Border’s Book Store employee. Little did he know fate had bigger plans up her sleeve. Somewhere between the stacks and shelves, Nathan met and fell in love with his wife Jess. Though the pair enjoyed the Sunshine State, they decided to set up shop back in Greenville after just one visit. After a whirlwind romance, Nathan and Jess married in Greece (but they’re not Greek). Opa!
Nathan began his career in advertising, point-of-purchase, and packaging for Ryobi and Craftsmen tools. He also did print work for local orchestras and other non-profits. Somewhere along the way he caught the digital bug, taking the lead on interactive projects for household brands like Hoover Vacuums, Dirt Devil, Sears and Home Depot.
These days Nathan and Jess spend their time pampering their two little pooches, Wicket (named after an Ewok) and Echo. (Did we mention Nathan has a huge Star Wars obsession that still lingers today?) In his spare time Nathan enjoys good wine, Apple products and cool maps.
