South Carolina's Council on Competitiveness is a public-private partnership working with partners to increase per capita income and drive the movement towards a South Carolina with a brighter future and a competitive, winning economy.
They came to Brains on Fire looking for inspiration. A rallying cry. And an identity that could not only unite our core industries, but also unite a state.
New Carolina was the result of the collaboration.
Now, New Carolina is changing the economic environment in South Carolina to make it more conducive to economic growth and to raise per capita income for all South Carolinians. New ideas, new energy, new jobs, new action.
Task forces have been formed. Clusters have been empowered. And now the message and spirit of New Carolina is being spread throughout the state – and more importantly, beyond our borders.
